What kind of game is this?

Dismantle to Play is a single-player, turn-based fortress strategy game. Build modules with blueprint cards, read enemy intentions, and deliberately dismantle your own defenses to trigger effects and damaging collapses.

Is it about reflexes or planning?

Planning. You can inspect the enemy turn and preview a sacrifice before committing. The game resolves the collapse for you, so the interesting part is deciding what you’re willing to lose.

Can I play the full game here?

The interactive scene on this page is a small illustration of the core mechanic. The full game is in development. Release timing, platforms, and store links will be announced here.

Does the game need an internet connection?

The core single-player gameplay works offline. Platform services, such as achievements and store features, may need a connection.

Who’s making it?

BrightEng Studio, the independent studio behind Lazy Susan: Spin the Chef. We like strategy games built around unusual decisions.

Does the game use AI-generated art?

Yes. The game’s illustrated environments, modules, and enemy art were created with generative image tools, then prepared and integrated into the game. The mechanics, code, animation, and sound are developed as part of the game project.
